The Building Maintenance unit provides basic maintenance services for all University buildings.

The Building Maintenance Department is comprised of a Superintendent, an Operations Supervisor, a locksmith, a painter/sign-maker, Facility Operators, and a General Maintenance Worker responsible for set-ups for campus events.

The function is to maintain the building envelope, including roofs, doors, locks, hardware, glass; signage; all painted surfaces; internal lamp replacement; furniture replacement; set-ups for special events and perform other miscellaneous maintenance tasks throughout the campus. The Operations Supervisor also performs modified carpentry work including alterations to existing workstations and emergency journeyman work as required.
